BURRITO TIME brought to you by CHIPOTLE

Last week, I threw one of my WGC business cards into the "win a free burrito" drawing at the Clintonville Chipotle, never thinking I would win. But, lo and behold! I got a call saying we had won and they encouraged us to order some for all the folks at Wild Goose. Well, we had a board meeting the next day and, needless to say, I started compiling the order!

The order arrived in 2 giant boxes!

And that is TWO LAYERS OF BURRITOS, folks!

And, of course, a box of chips, guac and salsa!

We decimated the burritos and chips and have been full for a few days now! Thank you SO MUCH to the staff of Chipotle in Clintonville!!!

Call for Artists: VendART

Some of you may have noticed a blast-from-the-past in the Goose space in the way of a 1968 Cigarette Vending Machine. We have turned this amazing piece of machinery into an art vending machine, the VendART!

Interested? Here are the specs:

1. The finished artwork must fit inside a box that measures 2 1/8 inches by 3 ¼ inches by 7/8 inch. We have cardstock boxes for you to use, and we encourage you to get them from us ahead of time and decorate the outside however you like! Advertise your own website, make them a piece of art in their own right, etc.

2. Please submit 10 pieces.

3. Please include a small placard (2 inches square) that includes your name and/or name of the art! We’ll put this placard by the lever that people will pull to buy your art!

4. Each piece of artwork will sell for $3. When we receive your artwork, we will give you $2 per piece upfront and will keep one dollar each upon the sale of the work in order to recoup some of our costs (eventually we may be able to raise the price of artwork, but we are working with not the most cutting edge vending technology here).

If you would like to participate, please send an email to beth@wildgoosecreative.com. Include in the email:

- What you plan to submit. Provide a detailed description or, even better, an image. Send us this as soon as you're able so we can start to make plans.

- When you will get the artwork to us. For this first round of artwork, we would like to have the work in-hand by September 15. One of us will be at Wild Goose Creative throughout the month of August on Mondays through Thursdays between 2 and 5 pm. Let us know if you'd like to set up a different drop-off time.

Thanks so much and happy VendARTmaking!
