The second full day of our New Year's Festival began with a breakfast at
The Best Breakfast and Sandwiches in Westerville. Wild Goose member and breakfast blogger Nick Dekker led a small troupe there. Look for a post on
his blog about that. Later that morning, back at the Wild Goose space, we hosted two workshops. Pictured first is Jenn Deafenbaugh of
Fuse Factory leading a workshop on LED Blinky-Bugs. Look for many more workshops and events with Fuse Factory later this year!
Meanwhile, Alison Chapman of
Igloo Letterpress led a workshop on book-binding. If you haven't had a chance to visit Alison's shop in Worthington, make sure you do so soon!
Later that afternoon saw a staged reading of
The Copper Anniversary by members of
Theatre Daedalus. Here director Jeremy Sony introduces the piece.
After dinner and an improv comedy show, we finished out the day with a concert by Wild Goose-favorites
Matt Monta and the Hot Coal Band. We hope to have them back at the Goose again sometime soon!

Thanks for putting together such an exciting event! I had a wonderful time taking part in this year's festival. I'm looking forward to future projects at Wild Goose and can't wait to see what you cook up for next year's event! Thank you for having us.
