We here at Wild Goose Creative really value collaboration with the people, businesses, and organizations in Columbus. None of the work we do could be done without their support and contributions. So we just want to take a moment to everyone who helped make the 2009 New Year's Festival possible, and to encourage you to thank, visit, and support them!
First, to the Ohio Arts Council for their generous grant to support the Festival!
To our performers at the amazing New Year's Eve Party:
Mattiburns
Jesse Cale
John Reuben
To everyone who provided food to help feed our hungry crowds:
Pattycake Bakery
Lavash Cafe
Snowville Creamery
Cafe Brioso
Brittany and Maria of Brezel
And to everyone who either performed, led workshops, or in other ways provided materials and talent to make the Festival happen:
Steve Languis of Our Handyman
Central Vineyard Church
Kal, Dwayne, and all the performers from Whistling in the Dark Theatre Company
Joel Veenstra, co-creator of Improv Legends
Everyone at Studio 35 Cinema & Draft House
The Alwood Sisters
Morgan Foster of Common Shiner
Alison Chapman of Igloo Letterpress
Jenn Deafeanbaugh and everyone with Fuse Factory
Matt Monta & the Hot Coal Band
And everyone else who read poems, told stories, improvised, cooked meals, baked goodies, moved materials, provided housing, or otherwise helped in any way during the Festival! We're grateful for everyone's support, and look forward to working with you all in 2010.
